How we work

The data first. Then the judgement.

A data engine on Africa, twenty years of operating work beside it, and the judgement to say what the two mean together.

Four parts, in this order

Each part rests on the one before it.

1. The data

Our own engine holds hundreds of thousands of data points on African economies, infrastructure and places. It covers the continent, country by country and below, across the nine forces, and it grows every time new figures come out.

2. What changed

Storing numbers is the easy half. The engine compares each new release with the last one and marks what moved. It also knows what depends on what. Power sits under industry. Ports sit under trade. So when one number moves, it points at the ones that move next.

3. Operating experience

No dataset tells you why a project stopped. That comes from doing the work: planning, permits, finance, building, and keeping every party at the table for years. Twenty years of it, in board and operating roles, reads the data.

4. Advice and delivery

On top of the first three, the company provides research, advisory, project management and marketing services, across the same nine forces.

Coverage

Nine forces. One continent.

A change in one area rarely stays there. The engine holds those links, so a move in one place points at the next.
